Is the ECU upgrade been throughly tested, I keep hearing people having trouble with it and I want a $600 upgrade that will increase performance without any problems.

JWT?

Never heard of any problems with the one from JWT... It seems the G-Force ECU is sometimes buggy, and, as of yet, unproven in terms of power increase beyond someone's personal opinion of how it "feels". The JWT is reliable, at the least, but as for true power increases, can't say for sure. They claim 12 hp, which seems about right, considering my brother's 200SX SE-R got 8 with the upgrade, and his motor has two-thirds the displacement of ours. He definitely noticed the difference, and he has 1/4-mile time slips to prove it. I'm leaning towards the JWT one myself, if I get either. Look it up @ www.jimwolftechnologies.com

Good luck!

The check engine light is not a big deal. Plus, notice that im a 97, and so is cheston. Should you try yer JWT, youd probably get a nice light too.
