What should I do?

Today, my check engine light went on, for no reason. My car runs fine, doesn't make any noise or sounds. It has 105,000 miles, but no sounds of anything going bad. What should I do? Should I ignore it? Anybody had to deal with it?
Don't have money to go to nissan and spend $100 for nothing.
Thanks for any help.

Just because there's no sound doesn't mean nothings wrong. Here's how to check for codes, http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html

Come on guys - you got to read the sticky's, FAQ and do some basic leg work before posting about stuff like this... there's a lot of information you can find even without the search function...

Thanx guys. For some reason I though that I needed a special monitor to read the codes.
