Oil Leak

Ok,

I have been busy this whole week fixing my car ('96 SE, 100K miles). Changed both CV axles, Installed my WSP Y, Tighten my drive belts, Changed KS, Replaced fuel filter and plugs. Sound likes my car is good to go right? No, I noticed yesterday than I have a small oil leak. There is oil build-up on some of the bolts on the metal oil pan and more build-up on the oil pressure switch. Just wondering if you fellas have the same problem. If so, do you think I have to replace my oil pressure switch or just re-tighten it. There is nothing wrong with it, just has a lot of oil on it. I was wondering if the switch has a washer or gasket on it that I can replace instead. I will take out the metal oil pan and put new RTV gasket on it this weekend. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

The oil pressure switches are known to start leaking - its a easy replacement - will run you less than 20 bucks for the part from virtually any parts store - including a Nissan original replacement.

Before doing any work, clean the oil off all the dirty parts, and see if you can identify the true source of the leak.. doesn't make sense to pull the pan and all that if the source of the problem is really just the oil pressure switch.
