Flowmaster Muffler

I ordered a flowmaster muffler the 40 series delta flow. I was wondering how it sounded if anyone has heard it before. Any comments would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

It will be bad. The word around here is to stay away from flowmaster. Asking before buying would've been smarter. There are a few people who have the 40 series, most changed to something else while the others seem to like it.

Thanks for the input Big D, but by bad do you mean too loud, raspy, ricey? I bought it cause I have been looking for one for about 4 months and I just wanted to get one, I should've asked here. I hope it's not too bad. Please reply to the badness question, thanks.

You know, everybody has a different opinion on how an exhaust should sound. some people think they can tell by sound clips too, but you'll never be able to tell if you like it till you get it on the car and hear it yourself. I think you may be happy with it.

btw Trevor, your car is looking good on your website.

I love the way they sound on v8s but on the VQ, especially if you have a y-pipe, it might sound ... strange
