Rear View Mirror Upgrade... lol

Anyone here have a larger rear view mirror, like a razo or carmate? I ask because I want one to get rid of the blind spots, but don't know if they work.

if so, would 270 be good or 300?

pics? help?

i have a RAZO one purchased for $15.....270 is just fine...if you go 300, then it gets in the way of the sun visor when you flip it down

I use to have a broadway convex 270mm, and it was okay, you could catch one blind spot, but a week ago I picked up a convex 400mm and it's much much better, I can easily catch both blind spots. Trust me, it's very worth it, once you get one, you'll want a bigger one.

I have a Razo 270mm convex on my Maxima and a Carmate 240mm convex in my Accord. The Maxima's is definitely better in visibility and quality (the mirror on the Carmate is not that great).

Nope, Broadway has a 400mm now. The biggest use to be a 360mm. Check the stores. The convex 400mm actually fits really well, you just can't put down the passenger visor more than vertical.

I was looking into getting one of these mirrors also, maybe a 270. I was wondering exactly how these mount? Do they just clip on the rear view mirror or replace your existing mirror?

And can they be removed without messing up your original mirror?

and what are your opinions on something like this

Someone has to have an opinion on the link I posted earlier (Post #16 I believe). Also, any info on a mirror like this is greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have any pics of a 270 or maybe of a 300? Inside/outside views of it. I just want to get an idea of what it will look like in a max.

I ordered a Broadway 270 flat, and now I am maybe doubting how it will look...too late for that now though, its already paid for.

Is the best place to get these off eBay? ($8-10 + 10 s/h) Or can you find them at the local Wallyworld or Pepboys for the same cost?

for the love of God kill this thread.

it looks just like that and it snaps on to your existing mirror. If you have a system, you can secure it by screwing in the screw located on the back of your OEM mirror tighter.

THANK YOU!!! That was almost exactly what I was looking for, however it was NOT a picture of the actual mirror mounted in a MAXIMA. Now that I think about it, maybe seeing it in the box helped me picture it on my mirror…nope, no help at all. Thanks for trying though…

I was just having a few doubts of its looks after I ordered mine, but I’ll guess I’ll just wait until it comes in---

My friend said its going to look stupid and I dont need it because if my sideview mirrors are "set right" then I shouldnt have any blind spots. I was thinking about going with 400mm but that is just going to be too big. Ill go with the 270mm but im still not sure if i should get convex or flat.

There's no way to set side mirrors to take away blind spots. Go with 270 convex...My sis has 270 flat and it's useless. Once you get used to the convex mirror you will love it, I can see so much more with the convex than the flat.
