how would it cost to replace the fuel injectors in a 99 max???.....i have some white smoke coming out of my tail pipe and it smells like gas........so i take it some fuel injectors are bad.......does this sound right???

 

White smoke is usually from ... not good things.
Blue smoke = oil
Black smoke = gas
Gas smell = running rich. Bad injectors usually don't allow you to run too rich.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like your rings may be not doing so well, or your valve seals.

 

yes it's white smoke.......so that means it's bad rings or valve seals......if so you know off the top of your head how much to get fixed???

 

if by any reason oil gets to the intake (through pcv valve) you get white smoke check compression first if you have bad rings compression should be very low also check for oil consumption with bad rings its high
