Need Help Asap: No Gears At All!!!

Ok, so I installed my KYB AGX/Progress package last night. It was too late to take it for a test drive after I finished. So I wake up this morning hop in the car throw it in reverse and I get nothing!

1st gear = nothing, 2nd = nothing, 3rd = nothing 4th and 5th are the same.

the speedo registers but I get zero movement. i dont know whats wrong but any help would be great.

You pulled apart your axle. I did this this week when I swapped my suspension. The outer CV joint came apart, but luckily I put it back together. I think you may have broken your cv boot now becuause the axle turned untill the joint and the other half of the joint wont move ripping the boot. Check your drive axles right away.

Yeah thats what happened... the rotor and the axle spin independently, but not as one. All I need now are some pointers to get the axle and the outer CV joint back together without taking the boot off. So please help meh

Can someone give some pointers on getting the axle back in without removing anything? Or is that even possible?

umm, good luck putting it together without taking the boot apart.... :-/

when mine came apart, we had to undo it, smash the axle back into that joint till it seated..

call local auto parts stores - someone should have one fairly cheap.

good luck cal, let us know how it turns out.

on a side note does the addition of aftermarket struts like agx and drop springs add excess wear on cv axles. can it shorten its life
