Ok so I'm going to be placing an order for the AGX struts monday to be paired with the S-Tech springs that are going to be here tuesday... I was wondering if I actually NEED to get dustboots, or if it's fine to go without them... thanks in advance

Don't get them, but only if you want dirt, water and all kinds of crap sticking to the piston and getting inside the struts.

yes, I would get the dustboots. I almost didn't get them when I bought my AGX struts, and I'm glad that I did after taking a good look at how grimy they can get.

 

i got the kyb dustboots with my shocks and springs around a year ago. the dustboots are already splitting. is there a better alternative ?

 

Where do you buy the boots? I have Illuminas and need some new ones.
