Detach your cat converter from your y-pipe and turn on the car.

Sweet

Hot damn, thats the shiznit!
I wish i had known about that earlier!
I wouldn't have bought my b pipe, just would have gotten the cutout for less $.

It would sound sweet on a max, especially with a Y pipe.
Hella loud, but I think you can handle it.

I'm defenitly gonna get one.

Are those bad boys illegal?

After driving with the cut-out for 10 minutes you'll be ****ed at it.

hahahaha <--- to above posts

cut outs are silly.

however the problem is where will you install it. the only place is after the cat, even with an aftermarket y. unless you throw in 2 cut outs on each down pipe of an after market y....i don't think there is room between the flex section and the 2nd down pipe

also i would get electronic cutouts if i were you.

then are fun to have and they sound hella loud. but they don't sound very good kina of poppy and bangy...if that makes sense.

One of my friends has an IS300, and i dont really like the way it sounds on his car. He has it right before exhaust though, i thought mabe if i put it right after the headers and before the cats it would sound better?

And a different one of my friends had a Cadillac Catera with straight pipes, that sounded sweet, deep and throaty, i would love it if it sounded like his.

So , u think it would be better than gettin a Y-Pipe? I mean, do you think it would give more HP? and sound pretty good?

thanks again =)

just from hanging out here and reading around about y pipes, and reading the cutout info on their site, i would definately go with a y-pipe.

get the y pipe and put the cut out at the end where it hooks up to the cat.

I think the poppy bangy backfiring sound would be sweet when eging braking.
