- Maximize Mileage -

Seeing as it's the beginning of summer and I just drove by a gas station in Washington DC last night that was charging 2.50 for a gallon. I thought it might be good to start a nice discussion on all the little things we can do to our Maximas to get the best gas mileage we can. I'm changing my fuel filter, having my injectors cleaned, new knock sensor, tires checked, things like that. Any ideas from anyone on some other things? Those cleaners for the gas tank and fuel system, etc? Anything else in the engine I'm overlooking? Tranny?

The one thing that that we all know and nobody wants to hear is: "Just drive slow and don't slam on the gas!" - Yeah.. Don't even bother.

Yes I was. Any more smart comebacks Jester? It's all addressed in the FAQ so what's the point of this? Unless they invented some new thing last night it's all been covered.

Like said above....shifting from 2500-3000rpms will help you tremendously.

Sorry, just ran out. But as a matter of fact, it isn't specifically addressed in the FUQs. What's the point of any of this, by the way? I thought maybe we'd get something besides this loser telling that loser about his new neon lights and ridiculous cheesy rims.

So it was very simple, just looking to see if anyone had some good experience or new ideas, which obviously.. you don't.

Shifting anywhere below 2500 should get best gas mileage.
