No temp reading...

Hey folks, just the other day out of nowhere, I notice that I had no reading on the temp gauge (doesn't move). I had left the car for a day without driving it and this happens. At first, I didn't think too much of it, then after 10 min. of driving, there was still no reading. Could it be just the needle on the gauge or the thermostat itself? I do have indiglo gauges (put on a month ago) and it was working fine. Car has 45k on it, anyone else have the same problem? Thanks in advance.

Maybe the indiglo guage bubbled causeing the needle not to move, check it out.

Yes check that the needle is not binding with the guage... if you are sure the needle can move freely, try to put the original temp gauge back... if that still doesn't work, it might be your coolant temperature sensor (not your ECTS - but the other sensor that is right beside it).
