hey guys. my friend just bought a 1996 nissan maxima se 5 spd. we raced and he took and it was pretty even till 4th gear when he just took off. we are both running stock maximas, mines a 1995 gle... obviously an auto. i know that 0-60 the 5 spd maximas r about 1-1.5 sec quicker than the autos... does anybody kno what mods i can get to match the stock 5 spd?

if it took your friend until the 4th gear to "take" as you put it, then either he is a poor driver or something's wrong with his Maxima, assuming of course that it WAS a race, as indicated.
