Anyone take on one of those new Beetles? I was minding my own business last night, and this thing pulls up next to me. I didn't think much of it & I was low on gas as well, as wasn't in the mood to pump last night. Well, this thing floors it on the green, so I said what the heck, and pulled clean, a normal roll into first, and floored it. I finally left him near the end of second gear. No doubt, I would have taken him if I dumped the clutch, but are these things that quick? I don't recall seeing a rear spoiler so it could be a naturally aspirated. Don't know much about 'em. By the way, that Brian V intake setup works awesome. Music to my ears, and mine pulls real hard up top- which I love....hate motors that run out of breath.
