better a/c **air flow** heres how

today when i was on my way home my a/c blower started to make a strange noise like something was trap withing the fan so i decided to take a look after reading the haynes manual(very handy).

i took out glove compartment the lower trim and removed the 3 screws holding the blower unit disconnected the electrical plug and to my surprise there was a plastic wrap from cigarettes pakage(i should stop smoking).

But what i noticed is that fan blades where completly covered with so much dirt and grime you can barely notice its white so i decided to take apart the fan from the motor unit that can be done just taking a nut out and pulling the fan out be careful theres a washer under the fan the underneath the fan it was covered with dust that looks like carbon deposit from the motor brushes i cleaned motor unit with a paint brush (i din't want to spray with anything risking to damage the motor but with the fan i used some citrus cleaner and my wife's toothbrush(i have to go to the store to buy new one before she gets home) since blades are very close one from the other.i put back everything and now the AIRFLOW IS SO MUCH BETTER i think from the dust that was there motor unit might need replacement anytime soon but until then i have better air flow and i know for sure i don't have to pay whenever i buy it its way to easy to replace
