Howdy All:
I am not sure if I can do this or not. Can I move the airbag sensor that is under the center console up into the dash?? If I move it I would have enough space I think to put my Pioneer 6 disc changer in the console.
If this would not be a good idea, which I think it might not be. Is there a way to put the changer in the glove box??
Any help would be appreciated.
Best regards,
tony

Not a good idea. The airbag computer (as I call it) has special torx screws to discourage any tampering. It also has grounding, as most electrical devices on the rest of the car. But, get this; you make one mistake with that sensor, and POOF! Your air bags can deploy and there you have (CHA CHING!) just inherited a major expense in replacing those airbags. They go for like $1200 each.
