Does anyone know which pins on the ecu i have to tap into in order to wire up a coolant temp gauge?

you can probably just use the wire coming off the coolant temperature sender, its he same wire that is used by the ecu for the stock gauge. As far as were it is on the ecu I dont know. Let me know how you do cause I am curious as well.

Is there any sort of other temperature sensor i can tap off of in order to use this gauge w/o extra hardware?

the only other sensor in the cooloing sysytem is the engine coolant temp sensor. It does the same thing as the sender, but the ecu uses this info to help calculate the air fuel ratio. I dont see why you couldnt use either or, but I think it would be easier and also cheaper, if you have problems, to use the sender.
