Has anyone ever gotten a P1447 code before? It comes up as Manufacturer's Auxilary Emissions Control on the OBDII Scanner. Could this be because I have no pre-cats in my y-pipe and not main cat? Does this code hinder performance at all?

any input? No one seems to be able to help. I keep clearing the code but it just comes back in a day or two. It's really annoying and i want to know if it is hindering performance.

 

 

I had one of those about a year ago and the two things wrong with my car were the oil pressure sending unit leaking (not the problem here), and a bad O-ring in the fuel pump...

 

So this could be from a bad pcv valve then? So chances are if i am receiving this code it is hindering performance in one way or another. How would i go about finding what exactly is causing this code?
