Speed Limiter

i was just wondering instead of cutting the wires on the GXE fourth gen, couldnt you just put in a SE, GLE model ecu seeing how the limter seems to just be in the ecu?

You're talking about spending 400 dollars vs, free here. I'm sure it would probably work, but most people don't do it cause of the cost factor.
