CEL 0905, Crankshaft Sensor

I need help. I recently replaced a water pump and timing chain (I made sure it was installed properly) on my 95 maxima. Immediately after assembling everything, I took the car out for a test drive and the first thing I noticed was how rough the car drove. The second time I took it out, the check engine light came on. I checked for the code(s) and it showed it was 0905, the crankshaft sensor. So, I checked both crankshaft sensors for conductivity and voltage, and both were fine. The car starts every time, but it is still driving rough. The car hestitates and jerks more times than not. Does anyone have an idea what may be the problem and how to fix it?

Replace Camshaft Position sensor (POS) which is located just below the crankshaft pully.
