I installed my DC clears today. D@mn. They look nice. But as I was replacing the white parking light bulbs with the amber ones, I thought to myself "Why do parking lights have to be amber?" Does anyone know why the law is the way it is?? Thanks.

becuase amber is the directional color on the fornt of car. other thing on the road or signs or some crap might have white lights and might be confused as another light......a cop told me that.

it is distracting compared to amber which is a softer light to look at at night, and you an see amber during the day.....

and it jiust looks better!

Whattttttt??? Hyper white is the shiz nit man. I get a lot of compliments on my all of my hyper white bulbs, every single bulb in the car is Polarg except for glove compartment light, and vanity mirror lights. My car is no where near rice, Stillen Body kit, EVO5s, nothing ricey on it at all, well maybe the Z3 Fenders but that's it, even then they look conservative atleast to me lol. But hyper white is really really bright atleast at night and looks really unique. Everyone has amber, hyper white looks unique. The only time I say hyperwhites look bad is when they're on altezzas. Otherwise they're hot.

You make no sense. In which? The ****. Dude, I had hyperwhites in headlights, clears and the clearance lights. I got sick of it when every POS looking ricer drove by with whites everywhere. That's when ambers replaced them. It looks better IMO. If he likes them, good. I'm saying I wouldn't want it on my car again.

there is no need to fight over this...to each his own opinion....i think hyper whites outside the car are rice, but we all have alittle rice i know i do. and i have 2 hyper whote licence plate lights. i only use hyper whites where clear bulbs go like door, and dome, and little lights.

I've always wondered why the police give a sh_t about what color lighting is anyway? If you have ever been to Germany they use all kinds of different colored lights on the vehicles over there. I guess they look at it like if I have alot of colors or lights on the car, people are more likely to notice the car on the road & have a better chance avoiding an accident.

The only reason why I don't like DC with amber bulbs is cause you can see the bulb color in the reflection in the day time and it really ruins the look....other then that at night they are pimp....Im split -_-

1. I think hyperwhites are rice...if you dont agree, then whatever...

2. I messed with my bumperlight setup bc I got into an accident and cracked one of my clear corner lenses...im sorry if you dont approve.

3. THe only person who ive ever had trouble with was BOSS. The org already knows his record...I mean hes been banned before for consistently flaming MANY others and talking out of his a ss. Hes followed me into threads only to post a flame toward me that was completely off topic and leave...that shows the maturity of ppl that "talk about me" and who youre bandwagon hating with.

For the Honda guys amber does=JDM actually. Their amber corners, sidemarkers, etc. are real JDM parts...not the "JDM" parts we have.

But yea amber just looks good...

My bumper lights were rewired to always stay on the brightest filament...they always run whenever my lights are on now. My signal is the corner lamp next to the headlight so it runs slightly dimmer.
