Steve,

Did you by chance go to THE UNIVERSTIY? I am a graduate. I currently live in Achorage, AK but will be back in Austin in a year for my wedding and will probably move back shortly after that. I miss home! Anyway, when I get back, I will probably need a good mechanic locally. My brother is a mechanic in Houston, but there will be instances where I am not going to want to drive down there or the car might not make it. Do you work out of a particular garage?

Yep, BSME in 1980, worked four years at Westinghouse in Round Rock, then a MSE (computational mechanics) in 1986. I've been working for UT at the Center for Electromechanics since 1985. I know a few other people that moved back to Austin from Anchorage, too. Right now it's hot and humid here, and a more northern clime sounds pretty attractive.

I work out of my own garage. You can PM Kenneth if you need a reference. I'd be happy to work on your car.
