wheres the distributor

other than the starter, what else can it be

where is the Distributor in out cars, can i replace it my self?

there's nothing in the how2's

There is no distributor on the VQ, it has direct ignition (each plug has it's own ignition coil).

Ha! Who told you your distributor was busted? Or if you deduced that yourself why don't we try to help you out. What is your problem.

distributorless our engines use a ignition coil for each cylinder on top of each spark plug

well my car isnt starting, and im having trouble finding out what it is,

and with the distributor thing - my friend sugested it and when i poped the hood i was like wtf i dont have it, cuz ive replaced one b4 on my alti, so yea...

but yea the car's just dead, there power, like the windows open itc, but when i try starting it theres nothing, no sound , no anything...

Must be the starter then. The battery must be good since you have power, so if the starter wasn't bad it would be making noise.

Or ignition switch... but that gradually failed for me.

well, originally i though it was the ignition switch, so i tryed replacing that, but that wasnt it.

as far as the starter goes , if the starter is bad the headlights are suppose to dim when you try starting the car but they dont.

is there anything else in our cars which might cause a problem like the one im having?

Do you hear any clicking at all when you turn the key? If not, try give the starter a whack with 2x4 or something like that... and see if it starts then.

yeah...if it is the starter, giving it a couple of hits with a hammer should do the trick. If not, check your fuses under the hood and under the dash.
