can I paint clear bumper lights?

can I paint clear bumper lights?

I have decided that I like the black crome bumber lights better than the clear I was wondering if i could paint my the crome part on my clear ones to look like the black crome or would It look like crap. I im trying to keep from buying new ones

it can be done....its just a PITA to get the thing apart. I was actually goting to do this today but the DC lense got f'ed some how, now I have DC blinkers and cloudy reflectors....but i like it. Try painting them and if you mess up or cant do it just buy the black chrome ones.

Sounds like a good suggestion to me.
I mean, if you mess them up, you can probably find some more for like $20 on ebay or something.
