pinstripe removing

does anyone know the most affective way to remove pinstripes, cause i was usin my fingernail and i realized little scratches are forming, is there another way that i can take off the ugly pinstripes? i know how to get off the residue, but how about the actual pinstripe?

just peel the pinstripe off in sections cause it tends to break easily and use mineral spirits to get the rest of the adhesive off. just make sure the surface around the pinstripes is clean and rub hard with the mineral spirits.

i used hair dryer/heat gun and WD-40/goo gone, when you get al ittle bit off, hairdry as you peel it, that way itll come off in large pieces, use a plastic putty knife to aid in the harder to peel spots, should take about 40 minutes for a thorough job
