Anyone have their max custom painted charcoal?

I'm looking into the future here... and I'm wondering if anyone out there has pictures of a charcoal 4th gen? I'm thinking about getting my car painted 5th gen charcoal within a year, and just want to know how it would look thanks in advance

I just saw a charcoal 4th gen max yesterday. I'm not sure but it looked like that was a stock color. The car only had tints on it. It looked OK. I wouldn't paint it that color.

i would not suggest changing the color of your car... decreses the value of your car plus it costs an exta $1000 or so for a color change on top of the $2000 just to paint it same color

I would say do this if your car was over like 10 years old, but you have the newest 4th gen max, the 99. I would not do this so soon, as it looks like you have a great paint job right now. That is my next favorite color, besides the Crimson Blaze Red....the Sterling Mist is awesome!

If you are going to do it, I think it would look great! The "Gray Lustre" is the best looking color on the 5th gens, IMO.

I wouldn't do it either. Your car color is the hottest color; especially with CF accents, like a hood and/or trunk....Your car is too new to do this in my opinion.

If your paint job is good, I wouldnt do it. If you just have to touch up bumpers then I would do that and spend my money on a Stillen kit.

However if you are going to paint it regardless, consider that you have to get the inside of the doors, pillars and engine bay done, if not it will look really bad.

Like Brudaddy said, the sweetest color is Crimson Red.. I love it. If your going with Charcoal, get Grey Lustre, look up Marco's car (PoLo) and take a look at it, beautiful color.

A friend of mine got his car painted Lexus Metallic Gray. It looks VERY nice...but I would only do it if you plan on owning the car forever. No use on shelling out some good $$ if you don't plan on keeping the car ver long.

It was just an idea, and like all of you are saying, not the best one while it would look good IMO, I think I'd rather just have the front bumper and hood touched up and get a stillen kit... can't forget CF hood either... (probably by september)

There's someone who has a custom gunmetal paint job on the board... Buddy Club P1 wheels and carbon fiber gen2 taillights, it looks awesome.
