Someone Help me PLEASE!

Someone bend my antenna mast, and now it doesn't go down all the way. A new one is $38 bucks, all I really need help with is installing this. Does anyone know how to install this without removing half of the trunk to get it in? The sales person on the phone with me told me I can do it from the outside, something about having the antenna all the way up and depressing this wheel to release the wire that the motor pulls. Please help me ASAP! I would be forever greatfull of my fellow org's helping me out.

*Please instruct me in full details*

I got mine for 10 dollars cheaper, not much but it's good gas money. Anyway, I'm sure badboymel will help you.

Remove the antenna mast retaining nut, thats the nut outside the car. You got tools? make sure you don't scratch your car. Pry out the passenger plastic clips securing the trunk finishing panels if you need to for space. You need two people to do this, one person turn the radio on than the other person hold or guide the antenna mast out of the motor. Then put the new antenna cable in, let the teeth face the back of the car. And then put every thing back in and your finish.
IT NOT THAT HARD, I DONE IT BEFORE.

if you dont have the tool to take that mast retaining nut out then use a flat head screwdriver and tap it off with a hamer "LIGHTLY" so you dont slip and scratch your paint, trust me I know
