Any interested in a High Quality 2.5 Inch exhaust?
i have been speaking for sometime now on with diffrent exhaust manufactures to see if anyone would be interested in making a quality system for the max. i have called , magnaflow, borla and brm. well magnaflow said no, as did borla and BRM said yes. S0 it has begun i have been corisponding with for sometime now trying to help him speed the process along. if you guys are interested just feel free to chime in and add your .02 cents.here is a link to their website www.brmusa.com. greg said the systems would be similar to the Se-R systems. also us 97-99 4th gen guys get the priority on this one...

not that many options out there, believe me i have been looking for sometime now. i have spoken to greg over at BRM and i trust his work. i have read the revie on their SE-R spec V system and it looks like it should be good. just trying to help the community but bringing another exhaust option to the table for us 97-99 guys.

Make sure it's stainless steel with good quality clamps. As long as he price it right, people will buy it. I think the option of having different size and style of the tip would boost sales even more.

They should have an option where you can buy just a b pipe or just the muffler or both. but the muffler should be able to hook up to a stock b. and the idea of being able to pick out your own exhaust tip would be clutch. this is the reason that i went with a universal muffler because i was able to get a 2.5 in exhaust tip instead of the that flashy 4 in stillen crap. b pipe should be resonated and the muffler shouldnt be a can, but should be a a straight through oval like the borla pro xs series or something like that. but of course these are all just my opinions and suggestions. oh yeah, stainless steel is good too....

I think i will wait
I am interested in getting exhaust for my car, but am picky about the sound. I want a deep sound at low end, and loud when i get on it. i think i will wait and see some feedback on this exhaust once it is complete.
Also if you guys need a maxima to test it on i would be more than happy to help you out!!!!

2.5 is not optimal for our application. It's probably too much if you ask me. If someone made a mandrel bent 2.25" to replace the stock piping you'd see the same gains with better low end torque. There's only that one kink in the stock b-pipe that hurts exhaust flow a bit.

If it's mandrel-bent 2.5", well welded, 2 resonators, rust-proof piping (and I don't mean aluminized coating, because that DOES rust), fits perfectly, and a nice quiet muffler I would be interested. I know that's a lot to ask for, but I'm sure may people would agree that is the "perfect catback." Price is no concern to me, I'm sick of this Budget B / Apexi Dunk setup.
