Climate Control Bulb Source

I managed to blow all the bulbs on my climate control unit (I have no idea how - but I was fiddling with my Bose deck) - I stopped by Pepboys but couldn't find a replacement... any ideas where I can get some new bulbs.... I'm going to check with a Nissan dealer tomorrow - but was wondering if there was any other source...

That's the bulb, with the blue condom

I replaced 4 in my climate control earlier this year, it's a piece of cake to do (presuming you can get it out of the dash ok).

Bought it from the local dealer for about 4 bucks a bulb, not even worth looking elsewhere waiting for shipping etc.. Just call up your local nissan dealer.

Thanks for the quick reply... mine look just as you describe - there is a brown plastic holder with a small bulb in it - with a blue light condom over the bulb - just as you describe.

Do any other places carry that part? Damn - 8 bucks shipping on two bulbs ...

My problem is that I'm hoping I didn't fry something - I don't want to order buy a bunch of bulbs and then have them go out on me... know what I mean? The climate control works fine - but somehow I managed to fry all the bulbs in one shot... if I could just get hold of one bulb to make sure it works, then I can get the rest... damn... I'll definitely let you know... I do appreciate the offer.

Yeah I have to replace 4 of them in the SE but I'm gonna measure the voltage on the contacts and try to use some blue leds in place of the bulbs. If I get it to work I'll do a writeup if ppl are interested.
