do i need to gap the copper plugs NGK BKR5E-11?

do i need to gap the copper plugs NGK BKR5E-11?

are they pre-gapped? or do i have to gap them myself?

They are pre-gapped but you're asking for trouble if you don't check. There's always the chance they went out of spec during shipping.

whats the spec for it?

edit: haynes says 0.043 inchs.

when i changed my coppers, i gapped them. why take the chance?

They should be pre-gapped, but you should always check.

gap them .004 smaller for each 50 hp above stock if you are boosted or or running N2O. I believe .043 is what I measured them at from the box. I'm at .036.
