where should i mount my amp fuse?

where should i mount my amp fuse?

I know i posted this in the audio forum as well but its more relevant to 4th gens. I can really find room to bold my fuse down in the engine bay. Where have you guys done it? Any pics would be very helpful.

What type of fuse holder do you have? I don't have a system in my Max, but I helped a friend put one in his Accord recently and I mouned it right to the battery bracket. I can't think offhand what it's like in the Max, but there should be plenty of roon. Remember -- the closer it is to the terminal, the better.

The fuse holder below is the black/clear "pill" looking thing with the yellow wire going to the terminal.

If you look at the pic, you'll see two small machine screws and nuts holding it there. I took the bracket off, drilled holes, attached the holder, and reattached the bracket.

hm, that sounds like good idea


if nobody else has any better ideas I'll end up doing that

edit: I have an inline agu fuse holder

just as long as it is 18 inches( no more) from the battery- you should be fine. mine pretty much nestles itself in the engine caompartment. I dont have it bloted down or anything......should I?
