Big Big tranny problem
As you guys may have seen my tranny blew up in my car. Well What happend was there is a big pin that goes through I believe it's called the spider gear or something like that in the diferintial. And that pin sheered off and shot a hole threw my tranny big enough to fit three fingers threw. My question is why did it do this. My mechanic can't see what caused it. I can see it nothing. I had just went over a speed bump when it happend but I don't see how that had anything to do with it. All in all it was a blessing because like I posted befor I got another heavily heavily modded 95 maxima with tranny problems for 500 bucks. Only has 98,000 miles on it. we took that tranny of the car and turns out that there is a peice, my mechanic called a check ball that keeps it aligned with the gears. Well any way that's all that was missing. A 14 dollar part at nissan. All that was wrong with the car was that peice was missing so it loged between two gears. So now I have two sweet 95 max's up and running. My favorite car the original is a pearl white, on black leather, it's mod's are tein s techs's and illumina's, jwt ecu, greddy sp, wsp y, udp pulley, stillen fly wheel, ground wire kit, jwt pop charger on ebay mid pipe. The other car is gold with cloth, it's mod's are less because lot's off the mod's from it went to the white car, but it still has place racing cai, cattman y, stupid gutted cat, ur udp, stock exaust off white car, progress springs on agx's, b@m shifter, act stage 1 clutch, ground wire kit and jwt ecu. I love my two car's. Me and my buddy raced them and my white one's faster. Yeah. But's it's still pretty good race. Now I just need to buy two mevi's. Sorry so long just wondering if any body knew why the tranny did that
