Need pics of Max on 18's with no drop...

I'm thinking of getting 18's for the max but I'm on stock suspension...

The wife agreed for rims right now but she won't let me get a drop just yet... Will it look really weird???
I probably won't be able to get a drop for another 2 months or so....

Pics would be great.

Thanks,
Sam

Always lower the car first before buying wheels...it looks ridiculous without it.

Maybe 18's with no drop will look good in Europe?

haha.... well, in europe you need winter tires so i figured instead of switching tires every 2 seasons, i'll just get rims for the summer & keep my stock ones for winter...

So what do you guys suggest for a drop? something that's the most comfortable for a drop... the CustomMaxima kit that they have?

No no, that's where we get our styling from, european sports sedans, which come looking like our cars w/ eibachs, only theirs dont have eibachs. . but still look good, and low.

but then again i got AGX's and ground control coilovers in the garage waiting to be put on! hehe, id do it, its up to you. You get alot more looks with rims. I personally would do it but get 19s. Make a huge difference. there are more pics at http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=318210 or www.cardomain.com/id/sean05

I also think you should drop it first. I suggest getting the suspension done first, then the wheels. I have the CM kit with the Illuminas and am very pleased.

Let's put it this way, Sam, it will not look any worse than most people think the 4th gens look from the factory. I mean, you will still have that gap, but you will have some cool wheels. Which ones are you going to get?

I say get the wheels, and then do the suspension.
Who cares if some people think it will "look funny" for a couple of months, I don't think it would look all that bad. I mean, it is not like you are driving around with a different color fender or something. It is just some wheels. Upgrade!

This is a picture of my car with 17s and no drop, they arn't the 18s, but it gives you an idea. I would suggest suspension first, your car will handle alot better and look better. Before I got my drop, I had many offers to go 2 tracking with friends. The wheels make the gap look alot bigger.

Are the eibach springs good. I think they drop it like an inch and a half but im not sure. Plus the store wants 300 bucks for the install i thought that was a little out of hand.

would it make a little sense to see the rims on the car so you can tell how much a drop you're looking for personaly? just asking.

I did rims + tires on mine first so that I know exactly how low to go once they are there. For now, its 4x4 time, but not forever. Adjustables soon to come.
