R/C Tails Question

Hey Guys,I just picked up a 1997 SE 5 speed yesterday and felt like changing out the amber in the tails for clears. I read the FAQ's and the 4 gen how to's, and found both of the links to do it yourself sites, but I just have one more question. I can't see exactly where the glue is that actually holds the lense to the black molding. I know it might be a dumb question, but I'm new to this. Any help will be greatly appreciated and hopefully I can get this all done before the rain comes. Thanks Guys

Hey, thanks for the quick response. Does anyone else have any ideas on using the oven to bake the lense glue? I haven't read any DIY instructions where an oven was used. Thanks

you can use the oven but many people have had problems with that method, just be careful.
I suggest renting a heat gun from like home depot. Make the job 10x easier

I think I'm just going to go buy one at the local hardware store and just return when I'm done to save myself the risk of warping the lenses and spending money on something I'll only probably use once.

Thanks, I borrowed one from my friend and it worked very well. I pulled out the orange lenses and cut out the new reflectors. They look nice for only costing 6 dollars from home depot. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I can. Anyone who has been thinking about buying RC's, seriously reconsider, it's a very easy mod and anyone could manage.
