cleared my taillights

i just cleared my taillights, and i used the oven method to heat them up. it was super easy! i don't know how hard it is with a heat gun, but i doubt it would have been that easy.

just in case anybody was thinking about doing it.

They came out really good. I am doing mine this weekend. I am a little nervous because this is my first real mod. Changing the light bulbs is nothing. After the clear tails I am doing the 9004/9007 headlight conversion, just waiting on my harness to come in the mail. Wish me luck. Again good job

thanks. yeah its a piece of cake. just put them in the oven for ten minutes @200 degrees, and they will pull right apart. use a putty knife or chisel or something wide like that.just stick it in and twist. i would start with the side that was originally pointed towards the trunk opening, its easiest. when you are done, stick them back together ande throw them in for another five minutes, then put the screws back in. piece of cake!

btw, i would definitely use a dremel. it is pretty much impossible with scissors.

good luck!
