Can someone verify for me please ...

Your rpm at 80 mph in 5 gear for me? ( must be a 5 spd manual ) I could have remembered over the winter i would hit 80 mph in 5th gear at 3k rpms, but now at 3k rpms i'm at 75 mph. AM i crazy?

80mph in 5th is around 3.3K

Did you change your wheels, tires, or both? That would affect it.

same here 3300rpm in 5th , 4000rpm at 100 in 5th

Weather plays a part as well. I've noticed that if I'm driving into a headwind, my max spins around 2600-2700RPM at 120k. If I have a tail wind, it spins at2300-2400 at the same speed. No wind is 2500 on the dot.
