Three questions

1. How much of a performance booster?
2. Difference in gas connsumption?
3. Approximate cost?

Answers:
(1) 10+ hp boost for Y pipe. More with Y pipe in addition to intake.

(2) No difference in gas consumption. If anything, you may experience slightly better mpg.

(3) Cost: Cost of Y pipe varies from $305 shipped from Warpspeed to well over $400. COst of install is approximately $50 -$100.

I'm in the process of installing my new Warpspeed Y pipe. So far Dallas and Dan at Warpspeed have been nothing but terrific in their customer service.

With 10 hp boost how does effect time off the line and in different speed ranges. I'm on a stick

Looking to go to the races, eh? I honestly do not know your answers as you seem to want specific details like Dyno readings and time slips. Logicall, the more exhaust gas flow out of the engine, the more efficiency gained by an aftermarket Y pipe. Hence, as a general rule the higher the rpm, the greater the gains... But I still haven't installed mine so what do I know. :-)

I have already made graet advances smotthing out the launch due to some good advice about clutch release. I also suspect my tires are safe but ar moving into the later miles. I keep practicing. I think I may have been popping up clutch too quick... Thanks for inquiry

the y pipe out shines usualy at 80 and up speeds..

it gives more high end torque.. so it won't affect you off the line

I felt mine off the line after about 3500 rpm. But then again maybe my precats were clogged up? I feel the gains across the board. A medium shift at above 5000 rpm from 1st to 2nd now yields a little tire spin and I now have some torque steer shifting from 2nd to 3rd. I love it!
