OK Fellas hate on me or flame if you want and say this muffler sucks or whatever....I won it on ebay for $39.01....last week andit came yesterday and I had it put on it bolted right up the yellow is different but I really like it it has a nice mellow growl to it and it sounds real good to me here are some pics....comments.....William...the tip is a 4" rolled chrome and I have not scraped it yet it feels a little differnt in throttle response and it feels a little stonger it only hums abit from 20-40 MPH or if I gun in WOT but after I get up to about 55-75 MPH it mellows out and sounds real nice.....

That's not bad at all. Was it made to fit the max? Also, did you win it from an individual or from a merchant...which merchant?

Thats one of the exhausts I had on my old car. I kinda liked the black muffler style but I took off the yellow sticker strip on the tip cuz I didn't like it

i just installed my muffler too

i installed my muffler this morning and i can only here it up to 2700 rpms. after that, i cant hear it at all. is yours a straight through muffler? i dont here my muffler beyond 2700 but possibly because my intake takes over. i plan on taking the resonator out monday. have fun with your muffler.

Suggestion - see if you can adjust it so it'll fit concentric with the cutout, it looks like it's hanging a little low. I think that muffler would look really good without the yellow.

Mine is like yours in sound and I like it it has just enough "noise" for me no too much but just right my intake is louder and if you think about it this way when you are driving by the intake being closer to you under the hood in the driver seat it sounds louder than the muffler which is in the back of the car....too someone you pass on the road they hear both and I like the way mine sounds and like any muffler over time as is rusts out and gets more broken in it will get louder in 2 years your/my muffler will be louder than it is now......you see......I really like the yellow it is very distinctive when you see the back end your eyes are automatically drawn to the yellow in the tip and yellow is Pace Setter's trademark color and I like it I am not going to change it and it adds more color to my back end so the yellow stays.......Yes it is ricey and I'm ricey.......rice is good ......................

NickStam-what kind do you have I want to see yours?

hmmm

I like the size of the tip. I like that it sticks out a bit. However, it looks like you mickey-moused it to get it to stay in place; its hanging down to much. There is toooo much of an angle on the tip towards the ground. If you got that fixed I think it would look great!

it is not rigged to fit I had a pro muffler shop put it on and I stood there the whole time and it fit exactly like it is supposed to.....my pics give an illusion of angle but it is perfect I squatted down to take the pics....the pics don;t show exact detail of how it looks it does not look like it "does" not belong at all.....trust me it fits just fine......mickey-moused-this is a new pun???????or you mean have them heat and bend the hangers for a snug fit up on the tip cutout in the rear valance....it fits just right to me.....I like the comments though

Re: Re: hmmm

Whatever you say in my pics is a exhaust finishing tip. I chose to go with that one over the nissan cause because i got it for the same price. That one is SS, so it will last if i wanted it to. I plan on getting the Apexi Catback when I upgrade my muffler.

cool...

Hey bud...not trying to knock the setup; just giving you my opinion. I think I would have them bend the hangers a bit so it fit flush against the cutout in the bumper...just a suggestion. If it were mine I would rip off the yello sticker too. But as far as it sticking out an inch or so??? I love that! My STillen was designed for a 97-99 and mines a 95 with the shorter bumper. Therefore, it sticks out about an inch further than it should...I like it!
