I just installed the GReddy catback on my 98 SE. AFter instllation, I noticed the the fit was not flush at all. The tailpipe sticks out about 2 inches and the part from the second resonator to the tail pipe seems to have been bent wrong. That part is hanging lower to the ground, and the tailpipe is not hanging correctly from the hangers. I also replaced my Y-pipe and cat to Warp Speed Performance Y-pipe and CAT. There seems to be a few problems with those combination of exhaust MOD. If any of you have comments or suggestions, I'm listening.

Well, the part that "is hanging lower to the ground" is present in almost all aftermarket exhausts. Are you sure it's the resonator or just piping? It's just piping on mine. As for the tailpipe sticking out 2 inches, is it a full two inches? Mine sticks out about an inch. And about the hangers, can you be a little more specific? Is your muffler not straight? Is it extremely loose? Is your hanger even attached to the exhaust?

Just for reference, my GReddy cat-back system fit on my car perfectly. All the hangers lined up just like they should. My mechanic couldn't believe how well it fit, how well it looked, and how nice it sounded! I'm not sure what's going on under your car... Good luck with it.

I've seen that problem on 99's with it sticking out too far. Hey I have a 95 Greddy on mine, and had to get a lot of pipe added to get it to somewhat stick out of the bumper, but I can't get it to come out enough because of simple design.

My GReddy sticks out about 1 3/4 inches. The hangers fit, but not perfectly. Nothing's loose, but one side of the muffler side of the hanger is being streched and is hanging parellel to the ground, while the other is being streched a little to the right. No matter what I've tried, I can't seem to line them up. It seems that the Muffler-side of the hangers are not long enough. The muffler is on straight and the piping, before the muffler, is actually rubbing up against the car. when I make turns sometimes I hear the GReddy rubbing up against the car. I looked underneath the car and noticed that there were marks on the Greddy where it was rubbing up against the car. The problem is that after the second resonator, the bending was not made propperly, and the upward bending to the Muffler part was also not bent properly. I don't know if this explains the problems, but that's pretty much it. It just doesn't seem like mine fits.

You can have the G-Reedy pipe bent a little more where it is rubbing against the underside of the gas tank just before the muffler. Also, did the exhaust come with an adapter piece for the O2 sensor after the cat, or was it built into the Greedy mid pipe? If you do have the pipe bent, pick a good shop.
