tranny rebuild

tranny rebuild

i have been quoted 1500-1700 for a 5spd tranny job. That is a rebuild. 1 year warranty. Please tell me what u guys think. To me this is a lot .. but i never had anything like this done.

The price isn't high, trust me. I saw people being quoted $2k+. Of course you could just buy another tranny for under a grand and you know we CAN put that in. Then again I don't know if you can find one with less than 60k like yours.

Yeah. It's easier than a rebuild and we don't have to worry about pressing bearings and ****.
