98 Max Stolen Stripped Recovered...FCK!!!

My car was stolen last Monday. Cops called me Sunday of this week and told me my car was in the junkyard, cuz the ppl towed it there. Went there and was SHOCKED!!! I've only had this sht for less then a month and it's been in a car accident and been stolen....

Things Missing (that i can get myself)

2 Wheel Driver side: slapped some steel wheels on there for now.

Both Headlights, Marker Lights, Corner Lights.

Fan Assembly, Grille, Broken Pass door window, Center Dash Panel.
=============================================

Things missing ( i need help on finding)

Key Ignition: Do i have to go to dealer for this?

Glove compartment & Central Panel where the auto shift and cupholder is

Airbags: both sides (where and how much?)

Also, anyone know where or who is selling cheap 5star SE rims? If you do please let me know.

Thanks alot for ur help guys.

Your insurance agency should take care of all that for you. You'll have to pay your deductible, whatever that is.

Are you saying you don't have insurance to cover theft or vehicle loss? How did they steal it? I thought they had an engine disabler and an alarm!

egay (I meant ebay) tons of airbags, tons of rims. For ignition you will need to go to the dealer. Window is easy to replace (did it bunch of times, as long as it's not a fixed window it's a snap), dash you will need to go the junkyard

Hes implying that EBAY is EGAY because of the outrageous trading actions goin on there. I mean they charge a HUGE mark up on shipping.

Anyways Most of that you can get from ebay and might I suggest getting a better alarm and also getting better insurance coverage.

Yeah if you shop ebay, you might get lucky and find your shiit on auction.

Whatever the case maybe ebay is probably your best bet for items like what you are looking for. Or junkyards as well.

with the parts needed and the condition of the car and use it has been in, while looking for these parts, i recommend checking for another maxima. Not sure what yours had but if u just need an auto and not too picky on features you can get one for 4k if not a little less depending on how hard you search and just sell your car to a junkyard or something...it may have more problems in the long run due to all the BS is has been through.

Either way, good luck, i only have liability too so i feel your pain and hope the same never happens to either of us again.

damn....sux to hear that...where in Philly did they get you? anyways...like people have said check ebay and then maybe the yards on Passyunk Ave in Philly, keep in mind that they yards may have pulled the airbags..prior to you getting there, was the car damaged in the front?

You know what, the fuel pump fuse is a good idea with a kill switch or 2 but there is a problem. My boy does that everywhere he parks his WRX. They tried to steal it and couldnt. That car is locked up like a bank vault. They ended up just trashing the cars interior. He needed new seats, radio, the works... Its messed up that people steal but if they want something there going to get it or at least leave their mark somewhere. Its a loose loose situation.

God, Dude, WHY?! You don't need full coverage for theft to be included. What you want is comprehensive insurance. It's only marginally more expensive than liability and will give you liability plus theft/fire.

Some bleeding idiot over on the anandtech forums had a mustang which he'd sunk many, many thousands into. He used his credit card to cover mods and an engine upgrade. The buffoon had the thing stolen and couldn't get back any of the money because he had only liability. If he'd of thrown comprehensive on there (much cheaper than collision) he'd not have been out all that cash. What made him dumb was not the failing to have theft on it, but failing to have theft on a vehicle worth a LOT of money and one in which he only owned because he'd extended his *** on credit cards.

i rather buy used seats than another set of airbags. You'll be happy with fresh new seats, you'll be highly dissappointed havin to buy airbags when u never even got to use the old ones
