this morning i woke up and i got my car back from my tranny guy. after paying 820 for labor and other stuff i was able to drive my car. its been almost a month since i had my car. i got a 2001 tranny with less then 5000 miles on it for 700 shipped and added some redline oil to it ( thanks ceaser for the hookup). i also put in the excedy clutch that every1 sees on ebay for around 150... it works fine for me but i havent gotten a chance to get on it yet. by the way how long is the normal break in period for a clutch? i'm so happy i got my car back! i just wanted to share my happiness with you guys.

Normal break in period is 500 miles.

I always go 1000 anyway.

Nice dude. Great deal on that tranny. As far as the clutch i would go around 700 miles but the normal break in period is around 500.

well the tranny is different then the one i had in my car before. for some reason the 2001 tranny shifts better and somewat more crisp then my old one. i like it all around. i'm trying my best to let my car break in.

also something esle funny happened that i didnt mention. somebody put apc stickers on my windsheild my two rear windows and on the rear windshield. they were big and yellow and the front was red. no one new who did it and who ever did took some time to do it since the sickers were level and perfectly put on. it bugged my out so i took them off once i got home. but minus that i had a great day with my car
