How do you become brainwashed by other people that share their own opinions? I don't understand that one. I mean, do you think there is a dictator that lords over this site just telling us that if we put vinyl or chrome on our cars, he will kill us? C'mon...

I speak for myself with this stuff, but others can feel free to chime in:

3.Those rims weigh too much. I am a performance-minded Maxima owner, and I cannot buy something for cosmetic appeal that will greatly hurt my performance....as I feel a lot of people on here share those feelings.
4.There aren,t many good body kits out there and Stillen is the greatest, dude. Couldn't have said it better myself....
5.I like my Maxima clean.

7.4x4 gap! gap gap gap alert! Going off roading? I do think people on here get a little carried away with hating the wheel gap. I don't think Maximas look bad from the factory, and I don't make as huge a deal of a Maxima being lowered as most.
8.Looks? Who cares? I mod for speed dude! Is there anything else to mod for?.....he he
9.FASTER! I shaved .3 seconds off my 1/4 for only a $1500 mod man. What a value! If that is what you are into, why not?
10.The Maxima is classic the way it is. Stock for life dude. If you had really been on here for a "few" months (you joined in June), then you would know that most people on here would never say anything like that
11.Auto to Manuel conversion man. It's so worth it. $$$ Manual is the best. I might be a little biased....ha ha....oh....I mean....brainwashed...ha ha
12.Dumb Newbie! Do you hear that one a lot?

My favorite is #12. It's funny to hear this coming from a guy who was still in the baby crib when I was moding my first Max.
What?

My point is, this site needs more independent thinkers and less followers.
Don't take everything personally....most of the members these days are under 18 & don't know much. . .
You will soon see who's opinions to rely on & who to ignore.

It's not all that bad but the red would be a magnet for cops. It would look better if the red was black and you had black rims.

How much did you pay for the vinyl?
I agree, the chrome rims clash with the vinyl and the overall "racing" look of the car... but other than that it looks pretty good.

It looks alright but the red is just a little too much. If it was black it would look better. Also I have to give you props because many people on here are too scared to post pics of decals for fear of being bashed by other members.

And to Brudaddy, 7eyesopen is somewhat correct. It's not that you get brainwashed but people will change their opinion conscientiously of sub consciously to fit into a crowd. For example: I have a friend who use to like altezzas and then he came on here and after 1000's of people saying I don't like altezzas he no longer likes altezzas.

you da man dude, you da man!!!!!!!!!!
I feel the same way, this place does brainwash you, some good, some bad. 99% of people on here are VERY conservative, which is probably why they drive maximas. They have swayed my opinion on some things........
and some things you just gotta take the heat if you post pics or voice your opinion

If it were up to the majority of people on here EVERY maxima would have EVO5 rims, stillen kit, red/clears, and H&R springs......

I always thought Sprint springs were more popular
