Oil reservoir catch tank question...
Oil reservoir catch tank question...
Ok i have been looking for something on the org to try to understand what this exactly does. I cant find anything. Does anyone know? And if its any good, is there a installation write-up anywhere?
catch cans are put inbetween the valve cover and intake so that any oil residue will catch into the can instead of going though the intake. cheap alternative is to simply put a breather filter on the valve cover and plugging up the intake hole but it wont be smog legal in most areas

well, look at your intake, you see the big hose in the front that leads to your engine valve cover? the catch can goes inbetween there. basically the catch can seperates that hose so that it catches oil but lets air pass. Not shure what kit your looking at but it should cone with its own hose and clamps
here read this, some guys make homemade versions
