HELP - axle/tranny oil leak 5spd

Hi guys...I have a i30t - 5spd with LSD..... I took my car in a week ago to get my CV boots changed.. but they were torn pretty bad so I had the axles rebuit... now I have oil leaking between the front left axle and the tranny. On top of that I was just driving down to street to the bank, I went into first gear at a light and I heard a loud bang and my car acted as is if the clutch went out (got a new clutch 10k miles ago). I had my car towed back to the shop and they said that my axle popped out because of the leak caused by the seal between the tranny and the axle. They changed the seal and it is STILL leaking, then I got a brand new front left axle because the teeth on the end of the old axle seems to have been ground down. New seal, new axle, and its stillllll leaking. The guys at the shop dont seem to know whats going on, I was wondering if anyone had a clue about what can be wrong. I cant afford to take it to the dealer... hopefully one of you guys can help me out.. thanks a lot for your time and patience reading this...

PM me if you have any advice please!!!!!!!!!

there should be a metal retainer clip ring thing at the end of the axle where it goes in the tranny, was it on? that ring is what makes the axle lock into the tranny I believe. And were talking about the left/driver side axle right?

ye the metal ring was on, it looked like the axle was not all the way in though when the stupid mechanic put it back on.. he tried hammering it in... but it didnt seem to move? Is there a special way to put the axle in or something?

Was the seal from Nissan? I have the same problem, driver side leaking. I've replaced the seal 4x with Nissan seal, but no fix. My mechanic for the heck of it, went aftermarket and found the seal to be thicker where the axle goes through. So far, it's holding up better, but I still get 1 drop/hr... Ok for now, but I'd like to have this problem fixed too.

Another issue you may look into is the reverse sensor. Mine was replaced 50k ago under warranty. However I've heard others on this board have that leak too.
