MAF sensor problem.

Well I have been driving around 2000+ miles with my cel on. It was because of an air leak because my lower intake manifold had a stripped bolt. So once in awhile my car would hesitate and occasionally shut off. Well I got a new and installed it. But I lost 2 of the big o-rings that the injectors sit on. Well I installed everything back and tried to start it and it won't it tries too but doesnt start. I get one long blink then 2 short blinks which refers to the MAF sensor. I don't see how that could be the problem it was sitting in my car without me touching it. I noticed that my air intake temperature sensor is pretty messed u, could that be causing the code? Help me. Thanks

This may seem pretty obvious, but did you check the wires and connections to the MAF and the sensor? If nothing else, you could try cleaning them.
