there should be a diamond-like shape in your interior. crawl under the dash on the drivers side and look up, you should see it. if you do pull the rubber diamond out and take a drill to the metal and there ya go, it exits perfectly into the engine bay

I wouldn't suggest the drop resistor mod.

Jack up the left side. Remove the wheel. Remove the wheel well liner. Careful with the plastic rivets. Screwdriver and side cutters to ease them out.

Once you get to this point you will see the main wiring harness going through the firewall into the car. There is a large grommet it goes through. This is where most folks run their stuff.
Take a dulled coat hanger or dulled metal kabob skewer and carefully poke a hole in the grommet beside the harness. Go slow you dont want to damage the harness and possibly cause a break or short in the wire bundle.

Its the best place to run stuff for a couple of reasons.
1.Capacity. I have two 4ga cables, and my MEVI wiring harness going through there. And theres still room to spare.
2.Future 5sp conversion. If you want to do this and use the vacant clutch master cylinder spot you'll be re-doing it through the wheel well anyways.
3.It Just Makes Sense!

Cheers!
