bad O2 sensors?

after I got my exhuast installed and reset my ECU my computer is now throwing a bad 02 sensor code. could this be because of the new exhaust and will go away or should do I need to replace them?

Which O2 sensor is bad? It could be anything, like a broken or unplugged sensor. Try to isolate the sensor causing the problem and then look for obvious damage. You don't want to replace a good O2 sensor! If it the rear heated sensor, you could have a loose component like the Y-pipe or b-pipe. Good luck!

i went out and bought the 2 front oxygen sensors but i have not put mine in yet....i got the code after putting on my Warpspeed Y-pipe and Maganflo hi-cat. after reading what PLUMMAX said im gonna check more and then i might have to sell those o2sensors.... i got them from www.oxygensensors.com, and i got the Bosch...around 160 for some bull (always a major set back). but having bad oxygen sensors makes you lose gas quicker since it burns different.

I got 2 opinions for my O2 sensor in bank 2, sensor one going bad

opinion 1, Dealer - took it in the other day to see why my SES light came on and they told me the O2 sensor, along w/ a KS code, that the O2 sensor got clogged b/c I recently had the BG Fuel Induction service done, along w/ tune-up, belts, oil change & replacing the antenna, they said the sensor tested fine, I was within specs, and reset my SES at no cost, yet same day after work the light comes back on and called the service advisor about this. Keep in mind this is within a month since I did the above mentioned repairs to my max at the dealer. One thing I'm wondering, since the light came back on and my max has been at the dealer approx. 3 times in 1 month, would you guys think I'd be eligible for repairs from the dealer at no cost?

opinion 2, Autozone - wanted to get a 2nd opinion at no cost so earlier today I went to autozone to see what tripped the SES light again, they told me my KS and O2 sensors are bad and that I should change both

since the dealer assumes the O2 sensors are fine & that the KS is a ghost/phantom code, would the wiring or the circuit for the O2 sensor in bank 2, sensor 1 be going bad or would I need to change that O2 sensor itself to see if this goes away? or do I stick w/ Autozone's advice on changing both the KS & the O2? I have reciepts of the 1st 2 visits.

I am almost at 106K in mileage, should I also change the remaining O2 sensors, as well as the KS?

I know I posted a thread about the longevity of O2 sensors, but since this topic was brought up and thought I'd give an update, I wanted to see what you guys think I should do

autozone told me to do the same thing...but i dont believe them...they just read off the codes and figure out everything from them...there not trained with maximas specifically. it is said that when the maxima knock sensor code comes up, thats usually from an o2 sensor being out
