Where to ground on your alternator?

With those grounding kits, where do you put the ground on the alternator?? I am also wondering what else should I ground for best results?

Thanks,

-Nick

You don't have to ground to your alternator, just near it. It's already grounded to the rest of the engine, so pick a place as close to it as you can.

there is a stock ground on a little braket close to the radiator and goes into the wireloom and comes out right near the horn. I regrouned that one b4 but on my new ground kit I used the big bolt thats just above the alt. Its the same bolt that holds on the little braket I mentioned earlier. I think its part of the alternator, but i could be mistaken. Either way its really close to it.

On our cars I think we can get to the gorunding bolt str8 on the alternator. If u look at ur alternator, it has one big nut/bolt with a fat wire attached. Thats the body ground. It has a clip with two smaller wires as well. I guess you could ground it there pretty easy cuz theres a lot of room on the bolt... just replaced my alternator...

there're two large electrical connectors on the alternator. one is "power in" (12 volts), the other is "output" (volts & amps), DO NOT GROUND ON THESE !!!!! If you want to ground the alt, find the small bolt with the factory ground on the bracket near the alt, that maxim10to1 is talking about.
