Quick engine cover question

For the guys with colored engine covers, did you just paint it like you would calipers or do something else?

no i pretty much did it the same way. I took it off cleaned it with a little degreaser and let it dry. I then sprayed it with a few coats on high temp paint and sprayed a clear over it thats all
