Dynomax intsalled this morning..
i just installed my dynomax super flow muffler at my local shop. it sounds great to me but not loud enough yet. i plan on takeing my resonator out monday. i cant wait. right now, the exhaust can be heard up to 2500 rpms then fades away but my intake takes over. i hope replacing the resonator with a straight through pipe will free some things up.
I went without a resonator at first.

Re: I went without a resonator at first.
the muffler is straight through and thats all i have other than the intake. i plan on just replacing the resonator with a straight pipe to go along with the stock piping. will this be significantly louder like yours, or only if i get the 2.5' piping?

My exhaust made a tinny, rattle noise whenever I got on it. Sounded very ricey. The guy at the ehaust shop told me that the noise was due to the fact I had a long stretch of piping and the sound was bouncing around in there. I have 2.5" custom catback. I had them put the resonator on after about a week and it was still just as loud but it took out that bad sound. Now it's got a clean throaty sound. Do you have a y-pipe? That'll help make it louder. Also, is that muffler a straight-thru design? Mine is and it's pretty loud. Sets off car alarms that are set too sensitive.
